We are proud to announce the launch of the GH2 India and Women Leaders in Hydrogen - India (WLHI) collaboration, which took place during the Green Hydrogen Roundtable at the Norwegian Embassy in New Delhi on the 12th of September 2024. This landmark partnership aims to foster inclusivity and elevate the role of women in the green hydrogen sector.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of H.E. May-Elin Stener, Ambassador of Norway, who highlighted the importance of recognising and uplifting the participation of women in the green hydrogen workforce. Her Excellency underscored the significant role women can and must play in driving the green energy transition forward.

As part of this collaboration, GH2 will actively support WLHI’s flagship programme, SHINE (Supporting Hydrogen Innovation by Naari Entrepreneurs). SHINE is designed to empower women entrepreneurs, researchers, and professionals who are driving innovation and progress in the hydrogen space. By providing opportunities for women to engage in leadership roles and contribute to the sector, this initiative aligns with our shared vision of an inclusive and diverse hydrogen ecosystem.

The Green Hydrogen Organisation (GH2) is committed to increasing women's representation and participation across all levels of the sector. Together with WLHI, we will organise key events, webinars, and initiatives aimed at promoting gender equality and supporting women’s professional growth in green hydrogen.

Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting partnership as we continue to work together for a more inclusive and equitable future in green hydrogen!
